I recently saw Raphael Saadiq and his band perform at the House of Blues in New Orleans and to say the least, the man is a damn entertaining performer. He had the place listening to the point that he even lip synced a song and had the crowd paying close enough attention that they were laughing at his jokes within the song. The man is fresh, his band is tight, and the wait for his new album is soon over

For those of you who are not familiar with Raphael Saadiq, he helped man the 90's vocal group Tony! Toni! Tone!
Born May 14th, 1966 in Oakland, California. Saadiq remains one of the few modern musicians who is a complete entertainer (vocalist, song-writer, producer, owner of his own labels Pookie Records and Velma Records, dancer, and fashionista). The man can and he does do it.
